Invisible for the day

I’m Invisible! Being invisible is a unique ability and I get to have the ability for 24 hours! To start off the day I am not going to school, I am just going to sleep in on my bed, no one will know if I go to school anyways. When I wake up I think of what to do, I wonder if I should rob a bank. This isn’t legal, but having some more money would be pretty nice. I make my way to my local bank and I even helped myself to some “free” donuts on the way. I waited for someone else to open the door so it wouldn’t look suspicious if a door just flew open. Once I got in nobody noticed me, I walked straight to the cash ran out. The plan was a success! It was weird looking down at nothing but a dry cracked up street, but still feeling and hearing the loud thumps as I run. After a few hours I eventually got used to the feeling. I can let this day go to waste, a new video game just came out and I heard it’s pretty expensive. I made my way to target and snatched the game and walked out the store. As soon as I walked out there were loud noises, it sounded like sirens. I knew this had to be me, I made a run for it. I saw a few houses up the street and turned the corner, I couldn’t catch my breath. I managed to escape and I told myself to never steal again, I almost got caught while I was invisible! The rest of the day was mostly chill. I snuck into a movie theater and watched the new Willy Wonka. I had an outrageous, but exciting day. I enjoyed my last moments being invisible, watching the Dodger game. I made my way home, right as I stepped into the house I was normal again. It was fun being invisible, but I would rather just stay the same.

Abandoned Island

Life on my abandoned island is scary. How I got here you may ask, well I was going fishing with my buddy named John. While we were fishing a huge wave hit us and destroyed our boat. Fortunately, there was an island nearby and we were both lucky enough to survive. The first night had to be the worst sleep of my life, it was freezing on the island, not only that but it was extremely windy. My first night with John was a disaster. It was a struggle to find food but we managed to find a few berries and coconuts. I didn’t know how we were gonna last one week here but if we were we’d probably need to build a shelter. John grappled a few pieces of wood, and I went looking for as much supplies as possible. After a few more hours we finished our little hut. The base was a few tree branches covered with leaves to make it more comfortable. Me and John were petrified when it got dark. We didn’t know what could be on this island. I heard rustling in the bushes, me and john began to shake, but when it came out we were dying laughing. It’s just a seagull, that night was scary but we realized this island wasn’t so bad after all. Maybe we can survive more than a week.

Rad Reading- January

In January, I read the book Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan. This book I read is about a group of kids, Percy, Anna Beth, Tyson and Grover, who go on a journey to Labyrinth to find help to stop Luke, another half god. Along with this, Kronos army plots to invade their territory, Camp Half-Blood a place of sons and daughters of Gods and Goddesses.

I recommend this book to people who enjoy adventure, action, suspense, and some humor. This book was full of surprises and adventure, as the kids go on a long journey to retrieve help. There is good humor, which makes most readers laugh. The book is not only all of this but also filled with action and even fighting. If you’re someone who likes reading books with adventure, suspense and action I will almost guarantee you will enjoy this book.

My favorite character from the book is Percy, not only is he brave and a leader but is very intelligent on top of all this. One quote that can prove Percy is brave is “Why don’t you just fight me yourself?” This quote can prove he is brave because he is standing up for his friends and taking leadership. Not only is he putting his life at risk for trying to fight, but is showing his bravery and how he is not scared of anything. This is why I love Percy Jackson, he is a great character and can motivate readers too.

My favorite quote from the book is “People are more difficult to work with than machines. And when you break a person, he can’t be fixed.” I like this quote because it shows that sometimes people have to understand that working together is not always easy and everybody makes mistakes.

Super Bowl Rematch

A big day is coming up, and I am so excited for this day. My team the San Francisco 49ers are headed to the Super Bowl to face the Super Bowl fifty seven champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. Four years ago we lost to the same team, we are back better than ever. Me and my dad are huge San Francisco 49er fans, our friends on the other hand are not. The day I’ve been waiting for finally came around, me and my dad drove over to our friend’s house and watched the game with all of our friends. The very first drive of the game got me fumigating as the chiefs scored on the first play of the game. Thankfully the 49ers answered with a touchdown of their own. By halftime the game was still tied 7-7. The halftime show was not very amusing, but the game was the important part. It ended up being the final drive, in the fourth quarter. What is gonna happen? I thought. Only God knows.

Dumbledore Quote

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.”

This quote to me means that, when you feel down, struggling, stressed, or upset you just have to push through your problems and find a way to be happy again. I also think it means that no matter what the situation your in you can always find a way to be happy, it is okay to be upset, stressed, or even worried but if you want to live a good life you should always stay positive and be happy. This quote relates to me because I am the type that when I am not doing well or am upset, I can encourage myself to find a way and do something I enjoy, or makes me happy. It is always good to be happy and that’s how most of the time it should be. I really like this quote and it stood out to me, happiness can be found even at the hardest, most painful points in our life, you just have to turn on the light.

My Hero

My hero is my dad. He is just the best, and helps me with everything. He works so hard for me and my whole family. I really appreciate him and he always wants the best for me. He would wake up at six ‘o clock in the morning to take me to my baseball games and have everything ready. He would always want me to be happy and he wouldn’t ever want me to feel left out. Due to how hard my dad works our family always gets to go on so many fun trips and vacations. If it weren’t for my dad I wouldn’t be where I am now. He pays for my baseball lessons, basketball lessons, club teams, and accessories although it is very expensive. This just shows how selfless he is. I could name so many reasons but these are a few reasons why my dad is my hero.

Hardworking

My word of intention for 2024 is hardworking. I chose the word hardworking because even if you’re not the best at something you have the choice to be the best worker. The harder you work the more you will grow and improve in the subject you work on. My goal this year is to work hard in baseball, basketball, and strength. If I’m the hardest worker I will pass the kids that were always better than me. If I do fifty pushups, one-hundred squats, and one-hundred curl ups per day I will get stronger than most kids my age while most of them will be playing video games or messing around. Whenever they’re working I’m working, whenever they’re playing I’m still working. Eventually I will start to see changes in myself and will pass every kid that was at first, better than me. If I am hardworking I am setting myself up for success later on in life. In any job you do, you have to be hardworking, I figured getting used to it at a young age will help me later on. If I work hard it will pay off and I can play video games after all the hard work, but I have to work hard first. This is why hardworking is my word for 2024.

Rad Reading-December

In December I read the book The Scorch Trials by James Dashner. It is about the gladers, and instead of getting freedom they have another trial. They have to cross the Scorch, the most burned section of the world while arriving safe in a haven. They are required to do this in two weeks. While already being hard enough Wicked has made it more difficult for the gladers.

I really enjoyed this book because, there are parts that can scare you or catch you off guard, while also having thrilling parts, walking through the dessert was a journey for them, for most readers they may say it was boring. But I believe it has tons of action and thrilling moments at the perfect times to make the book unique and suspenseful.

My favorite character from The Scorch Trials is Thomas. He is the protagonist of the story he is a brave and determined boy from group B. He was supposed kill, and his name is written everywhere around the scorch. Thomas faces many challenges, but he remains smart and uses his brain to stay out of trouble. With this he was able to keep group B from killing him, he is a well educated person and a good talker. One quote from the book I liked Thomas said was “Anyone else wanna pee their pants and cry for mommy?” I like this quote because it shows Thomas leadership and bravery to say that to his group he took control while being wise with his words.

One of my favorite quotes from the story is, “False hope,” she said. “Guess that’s better than no hope at all.” I like this quote because they’re trying to be positive trying to make themselves feel better. This quote can show that we should be grateful and not being so greedy all the time when these people are just happy with “false hope.”

Principal for the Day

Mrs. Tanikawa is out sick and they have asked me to step in as principal for the day. All the kids at school today are in for a treat, because not only will I make this day a day they won’t forget but I will go down in history as the most favored principal ever. At exactly eight o’ clock in the morning there will be donuts being given away to all the kids that go to the school. Being a principal was not as easy as I thought, there were many phone calls and people getting in trouble throughout the day. Since I was bored I decided to visit some classes to see what they were up to, and of course it was just learning. Learning. Learning. Why is being a principal so boring. I felt pretty bad for the kids who have been working hard all day and decided to surprise them with early recess. The kids were so happy all having so much fun and this was what I loved to see. Eventually lunch time came around and I had an activity in mind, I hosted one on ones in basketball and if you score on me you get free tickets to the San Francisco 49ers game. The day eventually came to and end and I could tell the kids had a blast, but I wasn’t finished when school finally came to an end I gave out multiple flavors of ice cream. I’m sure this is a day many students wont forget.

Rad Reading- November

In November, I read the book The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S Lewis. This book is about four kids who were sent away to live with a professor. While they were playing a fun game of hide and seek the youngest of the four, Lucy enters a wardrobe into a mysterious land called Narnia. Her siblings did not believe her at first until they found out themselves.

I really liked this book because it is a thrilling book to read filled with adventure, but slight violence. They go into battle against an evil witch fighting along side different creatures. The book is always full of surprises and has a ton of action. Even through all this the siblings always stick together. I really recommend you read this book.

My favorite character in the book is Lucy. Although she is the youngest one she is the bravest and most adventurous out of the four kids. She never stops believing in Narnia, and always has faith. A quote that can prove Lucy is brave is ″‘Why, Sir,’ said Lucy. ‘I think – I don’t know – but I think I could be brave enough.‘” This shows that she is brave enough to go into battle. Although she is the smallest and the youngest she is still the bravest and most courageous.

My favorite quote from the book is when Lucy says, I’m not a dwarf! I’m a girl and actually I’m tallest in my class.” This shows that Lucy acts older than she really is, and she is proud of who she is. Another reason why I like this quote is because it is a humorous moment, this is a quote that most readers would enjoy as the author has a nice sense of humor.
